Open System Lab provides service, research and development of website and information systems using open source software. Current services include installation, development, customization, training and integration of: Learning Management Systems (Moodle), Content Management System (Joomla), Electronic Commerce (OSCommerce) and PBX (Astrisk). Our systems are all built upon the open source technology such as LAMP: Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP.

OSL is partnered with many distinguished organizations in the Monterey Bay area: conduct research with School of Information Technology and Communication Design at California State University Monterey Bay. Many research and development projects are sponsored by industry and conduced by faculty and students. For more commercial oriented project, OSL is partnered with Carmel Technology LLC and Monterey Technology Inc (MTI) to provide professional, turn-key solution.
